Child and Family Wellbeing Service
Who are we?
The Child and Family Wellbeing service is a government funded early intervention and prevention mental health service for children aged between 0-18 and their families. We offer no-cost professional support to families who are concerned about their child’s social and emotional wellbeing. Practitioners usually visit families in their homes, or other local environments where the family are comfortable. The Child and Family Wellbeing Service focuses on providing early support for children and young people experiencing signs and symptoms of stress, worry or low mood, or uncharacteristic behaviour.

The service supports families in the following suburbs: Aspley, Bald Hills, Banyo, Boondall, Bracken Ridge, Brighton, Carseldine, Chermside, Chermside West, Deagon, Eagle Farm, Everton Park. Fitzgibbon, Geebung, Gordon Park, Kedron, McDowall, Nundah, Pinkenba, Sandgate, Shorncliffe, Stafford, Taigum, Wavell Heights, Zillmere
The service accepts referrals from professionals, schools, agencies and directly from parents and young people.
The service operates between business hours Monday-Friday and is not a crisis service.
