What we do

Our Post Adoption Resource Centre and Post Adoption Support Queensland provide information, counselling and support to people affected by adoption in NSW, the ACT and Queensland.

We support adoptees, birth parents, adoptive parents,siblings and partners. Our trained and experienced counsellors provide individual counselling, family therapy, group counselling and telephone counselling.

We can help adopted people and birth parents access identifying information about each other, such as records in hospitals, adoption service providers and government departments. We also provide an intermediary service that helps people approach the person they have been searching for.

We have more than 20 years’ experience in post adoption support and have produced a range of reports and information sheets on all aspects of search and reunion, including information about inter-country adoption.
