Jeremy has more than a decade of executive leadership experience in the for-purpose sector. He was the CEO of Anglicare (NSW South, West & ACT) from 2013-2022, during which time he revitalised the organisation’s core purpose of alleviating poverty by deploying social innovation strategies. Previously as Anglicare’s executive responsible for Communications & Strategic Partnerships, Jeremy successfully built Anglicare’s philanthropy and advocacy profile through a research-based strategy.
An experienced board director and leader in the wider community sector, Jeremy currently serves as President (Chair) of the ACT Council of Social Service (ACTCOSS) and is the Co-Founder and Chair of the Canberra Gambling Reform Alliance (CGRA). He was also a director of national sector peak body, the Australian Council of Social Services (ACOSS) from 2013-2018, including terms as Treasurer and Deputy President. He was also Deputy Chair of Anglicare Australia from 2015 to 2022.
Jeremy has a Masters of Business Administration (MBA) in Social Impact from UNSW’s Australian Graduate School of Management and the Centre for Social Impact (CSI).
Jeremy joined Benevolent in October 2022 as ED Strategy & Quality before moving into the role of ED Disability, Ageing & Carers | ED Business Development & Philanthropy in 2024.
As Executive Director, Ageing | Emerging Business & Impact, Jeremy’s role has expanded to include communications, advocacy and public policy. This brings these areas together with marketing and philanthropy to strengthen our impact and voice across the sector.
