Meeting young people’s needs

Rural Youth Mental Health Service (RYMH) offers early intervention services for young people (12-25) with, or at risk of, mental illness.

For young people not already in contact with a support service, or who find it difficult to access or engage with a service, RYMH will be there to help them make a positive change. Young people can ask for support from the program themselves, or be referred by a community organisation.

Rural Youth Mental Health services include:

  • One on one services with a mental health professional.
  • Information about wellbeing and health through self services available online or in person in your community networks.
  • Referrals and case management.
