The Beaudesert Kindergarten will give your child the best start in life and help prepare them for school.
Our approach to early years education is enhanced through use of Queensland Kindergarten Learning Guidelines and our Bachelor-qualified teacher.
Families with children starting school in the following year can enrol.
Attendance and Opening Hours
Enrolled children attend kindergarten five days every fortnight during school term. This usually works out at two days one week, and three the following week.
- Group 1 attends Mondays, Tuesdays and alternate Wednesdays.
- Group 2 attends Thursdays, Fridays and alternate Wednesdays.
Our hours are 8.30am – 2.30pm Monday to Friday.
Information on Fees
The Queensland Government will offer FREE kindergarten (Kindy) for children in the year before Prep.
Kindy is a part-time educational program providing 15 hours per week for 40 weeks each year and is free for Queensland Children attending a government-approved kindergarten program from 1 January 2026.
Children must be at least 4 years old by June 30 of the year before Prep to be eligible. Head to http://www.qld.gov.au/kindyagecalculator to see if your child is eligible or look at the image below.
The programs are delivered by qualified early childhood teachers.

How to enrol
To put your child’s name down on our Wait List please complete the Wait List Application form and return to [email protected] or drop it into us.
You will be contacted in the year before your child is due to commence Kindergarten. This will be during Term 3 (July- September). Offers are made in the order that waitlist applications are received. If you’d like to check the status of your child’s application, please don’t hesitate to reach out to us.
If your child is eligible for kindy this year, please contact us with your enquiry and to arrange a visit. We welcome new children throughout the year!
