One in four women have experienced domestic and family violence. Those women often have children who are also victim-survivors of domestic and family violence. Men and non-binary people can be victims too. Domestic and family violence has long lasting and devastating effects on the people whose lives it touches. The Benevolent Society is committed to evidence-based, effective and consistent approaches to people experiencing, or who have experienced, domestic and family violence. We offer a range of programs to support people experiencing or who have experienced domestic and family violence, from crisis support through to recovery and healing.
