What is peer support? Peer support is a service for carers accessed through the Carer Gateway. By connecting you with other carers in a group setting, this service aims to help manage the stresses that comes with being a carer and provide emotional support.
The facilitated group sessions are a safe and confidential space where everyone involved shares their knowledge, understanding, experience and stories without judgment or criticism. We aim to create space for all carers to feel comfortable and understood.
