A break for carers

Our flexible respite services can be provided on an ongoing basis in the home or community for carers to take a break while your loved one continues to receive care and support.

We help your carer plan their needs so they can take a break, stay connected to their community and feel supported in their caring role. 

This service is only offered by The Benevolent Society through the Commonwealth Home Support Program (CHSP).  Your fees for flexible respite are subsidised through your CHSP funding. A client contribution applies for this service, however financial hardship assistance is available where applicable.
