Our volunteers are at the heart of the support we provide to children, families, older Australians, people with disabilities and carers. We are always looking for more passionate and energetic people to join us in this important work.
Your contribution, no matter how big or small, can make a difference in your community and in people's lives.
And it can be good for you too! Volunteering is a great way to stay involved in your community, meet new people, learn new skills or extend your current skills and knowledge.
We have plenty of volunteering opportunities that you can align your interests and skills with, including:
Client services volunteering
In New South Wales and Queensland, you could support us by:
- Assisting with playgroups for children and families
- Reading to young children that need additional help
- Sharing your craft skills at one of our aged care centres
- Helping at one of our community events
- Mentoring young people to support their life choices and provide a positive influence
Professional services volunteering
When pro-bono projects arise, we look for assistance across writing, human resources, legal, marketing, finance, research and other professional services.
