At the Benevolent Society we have a dedicated resource to help you through the process of applying for a Home Care Package, at no cost to you. Our team can also help you maximise your Home Care Package to ensure you get the services that you need most.

Once you receive your Home Care Package, here's how we can help you

Helping around the house

We can assist with housekeeping, laundry, maintenance, gardening, meals and much more.

Helping live an active life

We can keep you on the move by helping with organising transport, outings, trips and holidays so you can continue to enjoy hobbies and social activities.

Helping with personal care

We can provide respectful assistance in getting ready for the day.

Supporting carers to keep on caring

We are also on hand to help carers have a well-earned break through tailored day or overnight care.

Helping maintain health

We can provide a personalised approach to managing your health and safety. We offer a variety of support including nursing, counselling, and much more.

Supporting living safely and securely

We’re here to provide you with support to modify your home, as well as access to housing and financial support.

How to get a Home Care Package

Applying for a Home Care Package is done through My Aged Care. We understand the process may appear complicated, that’s why by calling The Benevolent Society, one of our Benevolent Home Support Partners can assist you when you apply, free-of-charge. Home Care Package Levels

There are multiple levels available to you, depending on the amount of support you require. They are as follows:

Level 1: Basic care needs
Level 2: Low-level care needs
Level 3: Intermediate care needs
Level 4: High-level care needs

Funding of your package

Home Care Package funds aren't paid to you directly. They are used as a funding package for your Home Care Package provider (in this case The Benevolent Society) to cover the cost of the services you need.

One of our aged care team members can visit you in your home to understand your needs and tailor a package which will help you live your best life.

We provide transparency in our fee structure; hours of service vary depending on your service requirements and assessment level.
