Chris Knoblanche AM has over 40 years of experience in financial markets across areas including corporate strategy, financing, risk control and management.
His previous executive experience includes Non-Executive Director of Hipages Limited, Managing Director and Head of Citigroup Corporate and Invesment Banking Australia & NZ. He was also previously partner in Caliburn (now Greenhill Investment Bank), Regional Managing Director of Deloitte Management Solutions – Asia, and CEO of Andersen Australia and Andersen Business Consulting Asia.
Chris has served on multiple boards, including Latitude Financial Insurance (Hallmark Companies), Environment Protection Authority of NSW, iSelect Limited, Aussie Home Loans Limited, and Greencross Limited. He is currently Chairman of PM Capital Limited.
Motivated by a drive to support and create greater outcomes for those at risk, contributing to the not-for-profit sector has always been a constant focus for Chris. He has previously served as Chairman for the Australian Ballet, Trustee for the Sydney Opera House Trust, and Deputy Chairman of the Australian Business Arts Foundation.
With his experience across the financial and not-for-profit spaces, Chris brings a lot of expertise on driving commercial, financial and risk capabilities for Benevolent.
He was awarded a Member of the Order of Australia in 2014 for his contributions to arts administration, the community and the business and finance sector.
