Partnerships and Engagement Officer Indigenous Development

The Benevolent Society (TBS) is seeking an experienced and passionate Partnerships Engagement Officer -Indigenous Development (Identified role) to lead engagement in genuine partnerships with community and with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander organisations and leaders across our footprint in New South Wales, Queensland and South Australia.

Terms: Full time position. Flexible, remote working opportunity based in either NSW, QLD or SA 

The position will support the implementation of our Reconciliation Action Plan Partnership Strategy to ensure our partnerships and services are led by Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples. This will be achieved through implementing co-design activities, formalising partnership governance frameworks and assisting in the development of service models that are aligned with expectations of community, leaders and Elders.

The Partnerships and Engagement Officer will work within the Business Development & Partnerships team to support the identification of opportunities for growth and innovation in ageing, disability, child, youth and family services through partnerships and engagement which enables the achievement of the TBS strategy with First Nations communities.
