Bid Specialist

About the role:

As our Bid Specialist, you will support the delivery of high quality government tenders and philanthropic grant submissions specifically by:

  • Coordinating an opportunity pipeline of government tenders and grants and making recommendations on appropriate opportunities
  • Working collaboratively with internal stakeholders to source information and data to support the bid process
  • Prepare high quality bid documentation and submit to Manager, Bids for review prior to submission
  • Supporting the development of the Bid Governance Framework which is responsive to funder requirements, market conditions; organisational strategy and capabilities

Terms: Full time position based in Glebe, NSW.

What you need to succeed?

You will have a tertiary qualification and 2+ years experience in a similar role and:

  • Track record of success in tender or grant writing or other professional writing environments
  • Understanding of community services sector, funding arrangements and tender process
  • Excellent time management, planning and organisational skills; competent at juggling workload
  • A proactive, can do approach to drive initiatives through to completion and do more with limited resources
  • A commitment to using your commercial acumen to deliver serious social impact
