Speech Pathologist

Are you ready to take the next step in your career and join Australia’s oldest not for profit?

We want to hear from people who see ability, with the resilience to adapt their approach to each client while navigating the ins and outs of the NDIS system.

Your new role

As our Speech Pathologist, you will support children and adults from all walks of life to achieve their goals! You will assist in the enhancement of independent living skills and their ability to participate in the community. You will perform assessments and provide person-centred clinical interventions in a home, school or respite setting.

You will make use of our robust clinical practice model which includes individual Clinical supervision, group supervision and communities of practice. Take charge of furthering your professional development with an in-house “Team Leading Essentials” course that will build your path to leadership, and 5 scholarships available each year!

We have an opportunity (full or part time) available in our Port Pirie office.

Your new organisation

We support people to live their best life. Having celebrated 200 years of helping people in 2014, we are Australia’s oldest not-for-profit, and our focus has always been on the client. That support includes our employees, and you will have access to:

  • Mobile working tools
  • Ability to work from home or other hubs
  • A tailored onboarding plan to ensure you have a seamless transition to The Benevolent Society
  • Purchased leave and access to Long Service Leave after 5 years
  • Novated lease & employee discount program
  • Monthly recognition program to celebrate all successes, big and small.

Your experience

This opportunity would suit an experienced Speech Pathologist or recent graduate. What we need from you is:

  • Experience supporting children and/or adults using an evidence based approach
  • Adaptability, a ‘can do’ attitude with the ability to effortlessly adjust to clients’ needs and their NDIS plans
  • A current SA drivers licence and the ability to travel to clients (pool cars available)
  • Current SPA registration (essential)
