Lend a hand
From delivering a hot meal to an older person, to helping run a playgroup for young children or lending a hand in our administrative engine rooms, volunteers help us reach more people in more places. To register your interest in becoming a volunteer, download, complete and return the Volunteer enquiry form.
Spend your workplace volunteering day with us
Is your organisation involved in workplace volunteering? Teams of corporate volunteers have mobilised to help us maintain gardens, take older people on outings and host parties for the kids we support. Ask us how your workplace can get involved.
Fostering Friends are volunteer mentors to children in foster or kinship care who inspire and encourage children in care and help them build healthy relationships with adult role models. Fostering Friends can:
- provide much needed respite for foster carers, by babysitting or taking the children out for a couple of hours
- help children out with their homework, or activities like soccer training
- introduce children to new experiences that help them develop their skills and interests
- spend time with children and young people doing things they enjoy, like going to the movies or just having a chat.
